Overview:
There is a tale told to the children of Antrippa, made to both awe them and 
frighten them. It is of the fabled City of Gold. It was once a great place 
of trade, a place where money meant more than race, and greed was a way of 
life. It is said the walls of the city and its buildings were made of pure 
gold. 
 
Over four hundred years ago, the most greedy king the city had ever seen 
came to power. This king made a pact with a demon named Orinn in which he 
would give up anything to be the richest man the lands had ever seen. Orinn 
agreed and her price was the king's eldest son. 
 
When the demon came for her payment, he, being a greedy and arrogant man, 
refused to pay her price. He then foolishly had his four most powerful 
sorcerers attack Orinn. Angered, she sunk the city deep below the ground, 
creating mountains where the city once stood. She let some live, to tell 
the tale of what happened. And, to a lucky few, she gave immortality. They 
were to live beneath the city trapped forever. 
 
It is said that the streets of the city are lined with the wealth that 
Orinn granted to the king. That may be, but Orinn gives a warning to 
looters, "Steal not from me."
