Overview:
The area now known as Witherwood was up until recently home to a prosperous 
farming village, as well as a circle of druids. A few years ago, a 
malignant presence established itself in the woods, shrouding them with a 
cloak of darkness. The trees are dying and dead, and animals now shun the 
once-verdant woods. Meanwhile, travelers report spotting ghostly 
apparitions and unnatural shadows in the area. After travelers suddenly 
started disappearing and all contact with the village was lost, most left 
the eerie woods alone.
