Founded many decades ago by a group of adventurers stumbling upon the
remains of the ancient Kamalen civilization, Sykin tries to build upon the
ways of the Kamalen and learn from the mistakes that brought the
civilization to its fall.
Above all else, the power of knowledge and thinking is valued. Whether
teaching, exploring, or learning, the spreading of knowledge is valued
greatly. The creed of the clan is as read in a passage from an ancient
Kamalen tome, "We must strive for knowledge and put aside our petty
differences, or I fear we shall anger our Gods beyond the salvation of our
people..."
Those interested in membership should mail their applications to Sykin.
However, before being considered, an applicant must be capable of teaching.
Provided they meet that requirement, they should include in their
application their reasons for wishing to join Sykin, and optionally,
information about themselves and their past.
