Orcs are a filthy mammalian humanoid race, evolved from
pigs (perhaps cross-bred with humans), rather than simians.
They're none too bright, but tough, and cunning in a fight.
Orcs are often used as mercenaries by those who don't want
their goals revealed, or for tasks that are considered too
repulsive for other races.

Orcs build up a tremendous resistance to diseases from their diet of rotting meats and carrion.
