A clan is a collection of players, united to follow and further a common
cause. Each clan has rules and regulations, as decided by each individual
clan. The CLANHELP
more about each clan and their beliefs. Only clan members or loners can
kill or steal from other players.
Joining a Clan
Joining a PK clan is a dangerous step. Many adventurers live to kill and
torture others and chances are that your paths will cross. Remember,
attacking or killing fellow clan members *IS* legal, *WITH* a very good RP
reason supporting it. Bad things will happen to those who abuse this.
You may have alternate characters in different PK clans on each
continent. Individual clans may set their own rules on this policy, in
regards to whether or not they wish to allow it. However, it will be up to
the clan to police this rule. The immortals will not do it for you.
Speak to the clan about joining, by addressing a world with the name of
the clan in the To: field.
Creating a Clan
Clans can be created by any player with enough money. The CLANEDIT
CREATE command is used to create a new clan. You will be prompted to
choose a color for your clan. This color is used for clanmedallions. You
will also be prompted to enter a blurb about the clan and what it stands
for. This blurb will become the CLANHELP for that clan. Clans may
be either NPK or PK. This is chosen at the creation of the clan and may
not be changed.
All clans are either based in Antrippa OR Lensmoor - NOT both. This means
no clanhalls will connect to both continents and all members of a clan
will be from a single continent.
Running a Clan
New members can be added to the clan with the GUILD command.
A clan can have one voice and as many leaders as that clan desires. The
PROMOTE command is used to promote a member to either position.
Please see HELP CLANPRICES for a list of all applicable prices.
Clans will also be charged a daily upkeep fee. Please see the helpfile on
CLANTAX for these charges.
Leaving a Clan
Any member of a clan may remove themselves at any time by using the
GUILD command. Leaders may also remove any member with this same
command.
No level drains will be given for leaving a clan.
Loners
Any character may become a loner at any level, using the guild self loner
command. See HELP GUILD for more information.
Disbanding a Clan
Disbanding a clan can be done only by a clanleader. Once a clan is gone,
either by the disband command or by defaulting on taxes, it is gone.
Players are able to create a clan with the same name, but the benefits
of the old clan, including regen, items, and mobs, will not be given
to the new clan.
