Faction: The Kingdom of Mirarand
The Kingdom of Mirarand is a hometown that players can set, and even build a player-home or shop in.
Situated west of New Lensmoor, The Kingdom of Mirarand is a kingdom only by title.
It has had no sitting king since the human kingdoms organized under the one King Lensmoor; even after the end of the Lensmoor royal family and the destruction of Old Lensmoor, Mirarand is ruled not by a government, but by its military.
Order is kept by the Mirarand Guard and Mirarand Knights who report directly to the commissioner. As long as business continues and money flows through the city proper, the commissioner cares very little for ruling the city, as a result some activities that would not be allowed in other cities happen every day in Mirarand.
Because of the large flow of business that occurs in Mirarand it is frequented by visitors from all over Lensmoor, including lesser-nobility. Despite having some rather unsavory elements in it, the city is also very religious and as an annex of Tikol Cathedral known as The Church of Mirarand. The Pope from Tikol Cathedral often visits to get away from his duties there; although when he is around he rarely says or does anything of interest.
