About

Long ago an ancient, near immortal race we now call the High Elves dominated huge portions of the world. Over time the High Elves moved on for a new place beyond the eyes of mortals. The few who were left behind were not of pure blood, and known merely as Elves. In time the Elven civilization grew and expanded, creating many different cultures across the face of the land.

Legends speak of the Sinyar, the Sun Elves who inherited the knowledge of the High Elves, however only ruins can be found of their civilization today. The Elves that walk the lands today are almost entirely Wood Elves; these elves are heavily in tune with nature and magic and know many secrets of the ancient world they do not share with outsiders.

There are also Elves who were driven underground countless generations ago who became known as Dark Elves, the Drow. Although the Drow typically have a disdain for all surface dwellers, they have an ever-burning hate for their Wood Elf brothers, and although they hold a grudge against them, the reasons why have been forgotten.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Like humans, Wood Elves are a well-rounded race and do not have any true vulnerabilities. They do not share the weakness to iron that their Sidhe cousins possess.

Drow are said to be vulnerable to Light based magic, having adapted to life in the darkness.

Finally, the High-Elves were said to be nearly immune to all mortal-magic, yet wielded it grandly.

Locations:

The Wood Elves that walk the lands today come from from Lorell Wood on Lensmoor and Feyreely on Antrippa. The Drow come from hidden underground Kingdoms such as the Forbidden Caverns and the yet to be discovered Underdark.

Every so often a large group of elves from both Lensmoor and Antrippa put on a Spring Fair for all the races of Lensmoor, portals to which can be found in Chancy on Lensmoor and Semdea on Antrippa.
