Minotaurs
About
Once a strong, pound, mountain-dwelling race, Minotaurs used to go by some other name now lost to the ages. Tribal in nature, they used to gather in cliffside communities. With little knowledge of the pantheon of gods, they worshiped their ancestors as well as the spirits of nature. The spirits that they worshiped gave them domain over fire, and they became mountain lords of fire, and could breathe it freely. No one knows how the minotaur civilization came to an end, however what communities may remain are beyond the eyes of everyday mortals.
The Minotaurs seen today are a broken race of maze-dwellers. Summoned by great and powerful conjurers, they guard ancient labyrinths and whatever treasure may lay within. These Minotaurs know nothing of their race’s history, only the instinct to protect their territory and have lost touch with the ancestral fire powers they once had.
Strengths and Weaknesses
With their massive strength and constitution comes a resistance to blunt weapons such as clubs and maces. Their wills are hardened making them resistant to mind controlling spells as well. Although they grow old, they do not weaken with advanced age, but rather grow stronger.
Locations
They are found in mazes and labyrinths across the world.
